If people know the facts about chronic kidney disease they can take steps to head it off and hopefully avoid ending up on dialysis.
It was a real wake-up call to me. I changed my diet, started working out three times a week, and lost about 20 pounds.
I try to stay positive. For me, a positive attitude is the key to everything. I will continue to live life and enjoy every day to the fullest.
