Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers make the work of the TRUST possible.  The success of the TRUST’s chronic kidney disease (CKD) screening program depends on their time and talents.  They help us with on-site registration and CKD education at screening events, which generally take place at employer and community health fairs and other venues.

If you are considering volunteering at our screening events, please know that you do not necessarily need a health care background.  We will provide the necessary orientation and training.

Currently, we are seeking volunteers for our screening events in the following cities:  San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas, Texas; Washington DC beltway area; and Denver, Colorado.  We expect to be expanding our screening to northern and southern California in the near future.  Also, if you live in the Denver area, we are looking for volunteers to assist with preparation for and follow up to our screening activity.
